MANDATORY REGISTRATION ON THE ELECTRONIC GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT (E-GP) SYSTEM

In compliance with the presidential Directive, the ongoing amendments to the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, and the Public Finance Management Reforms, the National Treasury has officially implemented the Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) System across all National and County Government procuring entities.

Mandatory Registration Requirement

All suppliers, contractors, and consultants intending to participate in any government procurement process are required to register on the e-GP portal by 1st July 2025. Registration must be completed through the official portal: www.egpkenya.go.ke

Please Note: Effective 1st July 2025, all government procurement activities shall be conducted exclusively through the e-GP system.
