Deputy Director, Resource Mobilisation & Partnerships (TF Grade 3)
Job Summary: This position reports to the Director, Resource Mobilisation & Capacity Building.

Job Specifications

  1. Coordinating the development, implementation and review of the Fund’s Resource Mobilisation Strategy.
  2. Leading implementation of policies and programmes for resource mobilisation.
  3. Coordinating strategic linkages to support tourism and hospitality institutions.
  4. Assisting in development of funding proposals for tourism and hospitality initiatives.
  5. Coordinating resource mobilisation activities.
  6. Liaising with donors, public and private partners to support strategic projects and programmes.
  7. Leading identification of partnerships and funding opportunities.
  8. Coordinating engagement with county governments to develop tourism products and services.
  9. Leading monitoring and evaluation of the Fund’s projects.
  10. Spearheading implementation of tourism product and service support initiatives.
  11. Developing fundraising programmes to support the Fund’s mandate.
  12. Accounting for gifts, donations, grants and endowments received by the Fund.

Person Specifications

  1. Minimum of twelve (12) years relevant work experience, with at least four (4) years at Principal Officer level or equivalent.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Law or equivalent.
  3. Master’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Law or equivalent.
  4. Certificate in Management course lasting at least four (4) weeks.
  5. Membership to a relevant professional body (where applicable).
  6. Proficiency in computer applications.

Appointments to this grade shall be made on permanent and pensionable terms.
